The awards for the Peugeot and Citroën Franchised and Independent Bodyshop of the year have been presented and we are delighted to see Morelli customers Perry’s of Bolton, Autocraft Telford, Duff Morgan and XL Motors all winning top prizes. The awards programme was launched in January 2011 with the aim of recognising excellence in accident repair and ran for the remaining 11 months of the year for all Peugeot and Citroën Accident Repair Centres.
All of the bodyshops were measured on a monthly basis against a set of points scoring criteria and key performance indicators. For example, the results of the annual standards audit, customer satisfaction and technical training were all part of the judging criteria. The Regional and District Bodyshop Development Managers for Peugeot and Citroën worked closely with the bodyshops to try and help them achieve the highest scores possible. The winners have been presented with £1,000 which can be used for a team event or charity donation.
Commenting on the awards Adrian Mossop, PSA Accident Repair Programme Manager, said “The accident repair sector is a vital part of our industry and I’m pleased that we can recognise them for being amongst the very best bodyshops in the UK, especially during this challenging period which clearly demonstrates their commitment to delivering a first class service to Peugeot and Citroën customers.”
