The Morelli Group are very proud of their Technical Support Reps (TSR’s) they are often the unsung heroes in winning and keeping accounts. They work alongside customers painters and are always ready to help our customers get out of a problem however big or small. Glasurit a key paint partner of Morelli Group, have been keen to recognise the importance of the support our TSR’s give to their technicians and have agreed to put them through their worldwide technicians training programme called RADAR. The programme consists of several modules which builds to an overall score which will then grade the TSR’s at Bronze, Silver, Gold or Platinum.

The initial training and marking normally takes place over the course of two years but we have decided to put the TSR’s under a bit of pressure and they are undertaking the course in a year. Once their marks have been worked out the team will be able to see how they have fared and will understand the areas they will need to work on to achieve the grading required of them.

To put it in perspective Platinum is only achieved by the best of the Glasurit National Training Managers and gold is seen as a massive achievement. In discussions with Morelli, Glasurit have decided to produce a colour coded badge to signify the technicians standing and we will make sure that these are displayed prominently on their overalls along with their ATA, Smart Express and Morelli Technicians badges. The second phase of the training took place at SC Body & Paint Skills next to our Enfield head office and the team were quick to praise the quality of the training.
