We are currently recruiting for a Branch Manager, based at our Enfield branch.


To manage the profitable and efficient operation of the branch and its resources.

Reports to:

Regional Operations Manager.

Liaises With:

Relevant Branch Staff, Management team, Suppliers, Customers, Head Office

Key Responsibilities:

  • To project a professional image always.
  • To maintain confidentiality outside Morelli, regarding any sensitive information.
  • To develop productive working relationships with colleagues.
  • To ensure sickness / holiday cover is managed efficiently.
  • To comply with all relevant operating procedures.
  • To ensure the security and safekeeping of company property.
  • To ensure that good housekeeping is maintained always.
  • To ensure that all administrative records are maintained in line with company policies.
  • To comply with all Health & Safety legislation and company procedures.
  • To deal effectively & efficiently with queries and correspondence.
  • To motivate, organise, encourage teamwork and develop a productive working relationship with colleagues.
  • To ensure that all personnel matters and staffing requirements are dealt with and fully documented in partnership with your line manager.
  • To ensure that all employees are regularly briefed, supervised and trained correctly in accordance with job description and to operate in a multi-tasking operational capability including new I.T initiatives.
  • To regularly communicate with customers, suppliers, branches, employees and head office staff to ensure quality and delivery standards are upheld.
  • To ensure the maintenance of the company’s Imprest stock at customer level to the mutual benefit of both parties and in line with operating procedures.
  • To ensure the cost effective use and maintenance of delivery vehicles at branch Level.
  • To ensure the profitability of the branch by supporting the development of all up-selling initiatives and actively seek new sales opportunities.
  • To regularly communicate with suppliers, employees and head office to ensure quality and delivery standards are upheld.
  • To ensure all aspects of the warehouse are monitored accordingly.
  • To develop branch business in liaison with the field sales team.
  • To ensure that all aspects of branch financial accounting are carried out. (Included but not limited to: Petty Cash, Credit Control & Banking)
  • To ensure that the uses of the non-financial account booking categories are correctly applied and the products issued are fully monitored.
  • To ensure all employees are aware of current industry legislation.
  • To ensure that the Company Policies are publicised and implemented.
  • To ensure the timely completion off all reports or requests as required by Management/ Head Office.
  • To attend and participate at conference’s, meetings, training seminars and networking events as required.
  • To ensure stocktaking policies and procedures are maintained.
  • To undertake any other duties as reasonably requested by Senior Management.
